the minibar prices felt excessive (even for a fancy place). i ordered a small bottle of water and was surprised by the cost. also, the spa seemed a bit dated, with some areas needing a refresh. it didn't quite match the overall luxury of the hotel.

The hotel staff was generally friendly and helpful, as I expected.
The beverage service was REALLY disappointing. I asked for a Manhattan, but the bartender gave me a puzzled look and said it was unavailable. Eventually, someone else said they could make it, but it took thirty minutes! The small glass of champagne I got the next night cost 28 euros. That's just highway robbery.

the breakfast buffet offered a fantastic selection of breads and fruits. i liked the omelettes that were made to order. the hotel upgraded my room to a large suite (it was my wedding anniversary).
my room lacked basic amenities such as coffee or tea making facilities. i also noticed there was no full length mirror. the lunch i had was not great, the salads were bland.
